There are some critical success factors for the deployment and implementation of the 1:1 e learning environment. These include:

1. Teacher training;
2. Teachers' buy in, adaptability and acceptability.
3. Community acceptance and involvement for sustainability and change management;
4. Case studies / PoC validation;
5. Students acceptability and perception of the CMPC as a learning tool;
6. Government educational policy on 1:1 e learning environment as a tool for education and teacher training;
7. Local digitized content;
8. Local technical support, assembly, production of machines;
9. Sustainability/business model.
