Education Trust Fund

Educational Tax Fund (ETF) was established under Act No. 7 of 1993 and amended by the Act No. 40 0f 1988; with project management to improve the quality of Education in Nigeria. To enable the ETF achieve the above objectives, Act No. 7 1993 as amended imposes a 2 percent (2%) Education Tax on the assessable profit of all registered companies in Nigeria. The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) is empowered by the Act to assess and collect Education Tax. The Fund administers the tax imposed by the Acts, and disburses the amounts to educational institutions at Federal, State and Local Government levels. It also monitors the projects executed with the funds allocated to the beneficiaries.

Technology Support Centre (TSC)

The Technology TSC has had extensive experience in the conceptualization, deployment, support, maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure on a national scale. Also, TSC is an Intel technology cotraveler that has been involved in the deployment of a several digital inclusion program. Technology Support Center Limited (TSC) was involved in the deployment of a trial/prototype digital inclusion program for Government Secondary School in Jabi, Abuja. It has also designed and managed digital inclusion programs in the Federal Capital territory Abuja. Its team of seasoned professional s are drawn from all parts of the Globe with long years of experience in Integrated solutions similar to Technology enabled learning.

Global Media Limited (GML)

Global Media Limited (GML) is a Digital Education Centre, offering services for the facilitation and integration of Electronic Technology into Education Operations in Nigeria. It has Implementation Consultancy responsibilities for the

  • Assessment of the criteria for school selection and advice ETF appropriately
  • Inspection of the selected schools to ensure they meet the desired standard
  • Verification of the number, functional status as well as Hardware/Software specifications of all equipments for deployment, making sure they meet the desired standard. 
  • Ensuring that all Equipments are securely delivered to all the sites and collected.
  • Confirmation that all Wi-Fi classroom connectivity and Internet access in each of the selected schools are properly done and are functional.
  • Assessment of the teachers/students training in all the selected schools.
  • Carrying out an Impact assessment of the programme by collecting appropriate data for analysis
  • Certification of quality and quantity of jobs done before payments can be made
  • Monitoring of the programme and submission of periodic reports to ETF on the effectiveness of the programme and the effective use of resources.
  • Development Guidelines, Test procedures and criteria for evaluating deployed learning software
  • Perform Quality Assurance exercises on all aspects of the project
  • Carry out certification on completed aspects of the project
