What is ETF—TEL
ETF—TEL is a platform for integrating technology into the traditional classroom environment. An ideal TEL environment which hosts the 1:1 learning platform and which forms the pillars of TEL has the following elements:

Learning environments have evolved over time. The evolution has been from the use of text books to digitized learning environments to collaborative environment. The Classmate PC works in the collaborative environment platform. Computer labs in schools is a good idea but there is the need to personalize learning with computers. It should be as personal to the student as a note book and pen. The personalization of the computer brings about the 1:1 learning environment. In order to further develop ICT in Nigeria and bridge the digital divide between it and other countries, there is the need to adopt the 1:1 e learning model.
